A hot tub – is a unique outdoor element that allows you to enjoy your time outside staring at the stars, breathing cold clear air, or just simply chatting with your friends and family.
The exterior of a plastic hot tub is decorated with wood. This is a practical choice, as a plastic hot tub requires less care than a wooden tub. Also, plastic will not rot or get fungus.
Why should you choose our plastic hot tubs?
The hot tubs are made from the polypropylene. The drainage and heating system is attached to the tub; also, we can decorate the tub with your chosen wood paneling. These tubs are durable and long-lasting. Polypropylene is durable, heat and cold resistant, also UV proof. It is suitable for allergic people and recyclable.
We use 5 mm thick polypropylene for our hot tubs. Available colors: sky blue (RAL 5015), pebble grey (RAL 7032), and jet black (RAL 9005). For the exterior wood paneling, you can choose from the Siberian fir (15 mm thick), Siberian larch (15 mm thick), and fir or pine thermo wood (22 mm thick).
The inside of this tub is made from plastic with plastic benches and is easy to clean.
Why should you choose the plastic hot tub?
The plastic tubs are more popular due to the easier cleaning compared to the wooden ones. They contain less bacterium, the inside of these tubs is easy to clean and disinfect; also, you can leave them empty for the long time knowing that they will not get damaged, despite the weather conditions.
Plastic will not rot or get fungus. Compared to the wooden hot tub, the plastic won’t get parched, which may cause bigger gaps between the wood panels.
The plastic tubs look alike wooden ones, as their exterior is made from the wooden panels; however, they are more hygienic. It is easy to change the exterior wooden paneling, if is gets old.
You can use the same bath or water pool cleaning products for these tubs. They are easy to clean. There is no need to change water after every usage.
These tubs may last several decades, if you use and clean them according to the rules. Also, plastic tubs are relatively light and are easy to transport.
Plastic tub maintenance
It is easy to maintain a plastic tub. You can put a tub on the flat ground and attach the relevant drainage system.
- Water heating system is very important. If you heat water with a wood-burning stove, you should fill a hot tub with water before starting the heating. Otherwise, the walls of the tub may be distorted. According to the stove type, the water should heat up to the temperature in several hours. While heating, it is recommended to mix water, so it will heat up faster and aromatherapy products will be mixed smoothly.
- After the usage, you can simply drain the water from the tub – there is no need for additional maintenance. You can use the same bath or water-pool cleaning products for these tubs.
- It is forbidden to keep water inside the tub, if the weather temperature outside is below 0 °C.
- If you use the dry firewood, the water will heat up in 2–3 hours (according to the size of the tub). You should clean the stove after 2 or 3 months have burnt.
- You should drain the water only after all the firewood is burnt out and the stove is cool. Otherwise, there is a risk to damage the tub and the stove.
- It is recommended impregnating or to dyeing the exterior wood paneling once a year.
- The lid of the hot tub prevents from litter, animals, and is protects the children.
